Cody in Chrome

The Cody Chrome extension brings Cody CLI into your browser — letting you use Cody on any web page, in GitHub PRs, and across your dev workflow without switching to the terminal.

Installation

1. Install from the Chrome Web Store (coming soon)
2. Or enable via CLI: cody /chrome

Requirements

• Cody CLI installed and authenticated (cody auth login)
• Chrome 110+
• An active AINative account

Features

• Ask Cody about any page content
• Summarize GitHub PRs and issues
• Generate code from web context
• Access your MCP servers from the browser

Setup via CLI

cody /chrome

This opens the Chrome onboarding flow and configures the extension to connect to your local Cody session.
